The forum gathered experts, scholars and industry leaders in the fields of algorithm, computing power and data, and discussed the new kinetic energy brought by algorithm innovation and the integration of algorithm and data to promote the intelligent and digital development and transformation of industries, and its important supporting role in core technology breakthrough, emerging industry development and high-quality development of digital economy.

The theme forum on the integration of algorithm and data has invited many experts and scholars to share in-depth topics through on-the-spot discussions and lectures in the cloud. Huang Heyan, dean of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Beijing Institute of Technology, said: The core technology of digital economy involves data, algorithm and computing power. As the "language" in the era of digital economy, algorithms affect the development potential of digital economy. Excellent algorithms can mine high-value data to complete the transformation and upgrading of key businesses. High-quality data can constantly train and optimize algorithms, and promote algorithm improvement and innovation.

At the same time, Chen Shiqing, an academician of the National Academy of Engineering and an academician of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, gave a keynote speech entitled "Design and Application Scenarios of Information System Architecture Supporting Digital Economy". He shared the integrated management solution of intelligent unmanned energy station system based on distributed intelligent super-computing management control platform, which can provide energy-saving for high-energy-consuming subjects. This solution can enable energy enterprises to realize intelligent unmanned management, reduce energy consumption and management costs for enterprises, and provide a stable manufacturing environment for industrial interconnection.

At the meeting, Dong Jian, deputy director of the Information Technology Research Center of China Institute of Electronic Technology Standardization, and Yang Panfei, engineer of the Fifth Institute of Electronics, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly released the Progress Report on Benchmarking of Computing Products. Dong Jian said that in the future, the working group will continue to support the iterative optimization of computing products’ performance, improve the capability of traction computing industry, and provide a starting point for promoting the healthy and orderly development of the entire chain of computing industry.

Yang Panfei said that the benchmark suite for comprehensive performance testing of computing products can alleviate the problem that the industry relies heavily on open source tools and has no independent testing tools; Solve the problems of non-uniform evaluation basis of computer system performance, multiple evaluation dimensions and no comprehensive performance evaluation tools; Solve that problem that the performance simulation test is different from the actual us experience, and alleviate the limitation of benchmark test program.

Subsequently, Zhu Lantian, co-founder and CTO of Songguo Travel, gave a keynote speech on "Algorithm Innovation Makes Urban Traffic Better" around the impact of algorithms on urban traffic and urban slow traffic. He pointed out that the urban management of shared travel has gradually transitioned from the artificial decision-making era to the intelligent decision-making era of algorithms. After five years’ precipitation and accumulation, Pinecone Travel has found out a set of algorithm governance mode, and deeply applied the algorithm in three dimensions: supply and demand balance, vehicle scheduling and operation management.

"The algorithm empowers urban traffic to achieve the effect of releasing stock, limiting increment, balancing supply and demand, and needs active intervention to avoid vehicle accumulation, thus improving urban traffic pressure." Zhu Lantian said that the data shows that after the intelligent four-dimensional dispatching system went online, it effectively improved the vehicle moving efficiency of operation and maintenance personnel, and the vehicle utilization rate also increased by 20%.

In addition to the balance between supply and demand and vehicle scheduling, another important application of intelligent traffic management by using algorithms is how to regulate users’ behavior. Finally, Niu Xinyu, founder and CEO of Kunyun Technology, Zhang Yu, senior vice president of Zhongke Yushu, and Yu Zheng, vice president of Beijing Haizhi Technology, respectively gave keynote speeches on providing the next generation computing platform to accelerate the landing of artificial intelligence, software-defined DPU to continuously break through the system performance boundary, and the application of cognitive intelligence and graph analysis technology in enterprise-level big data.
